HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Hilary Duff is not pregnant with her first child.
The former Lizzie McGuire has shot down a Star magazine report, in which a "close friend" suggested Duff had a baby on the way with husband Mike Comrie.
"Nope, not pregs!" she told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush in a text message Wednesday. "Be nice to know who my 'friend' is though that is telling people that."
Duff also took to her Twitter page to deny the pregnancy report.
"Wow what a way to wake up and find out you're pregs!" she said. "It's just a rumor guys! Not true. But thanks for all the good wishes! Lol."
The actress and the hockey star married last August at a luxury estate located near Santa Barbara. As for starting a family, Duff previously told the Valentine in the Morning radio show that the twosome wasn't in a rush.
"We're excited to have kids, but we don't want to do it now," she said in October, before adding later, "We're not thinking about it at all."
