HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tammy Lynn Etheridge is setting the record straight about the bitter end to her nine-year relationship with Melissa Etheridge.
On Tuesday, she took to her blog to address her ex's relationship with new girlfriend Linda Wallem, a romance Tammy Lynn claims began while she was still with the singer.
"I'd rather squirm in rage and look crazy than open my mouth about someone's secret," she says of reports suggesting her ex started dating the Nurse Jackie creator after the former lovers split.
Tammy Lynn says she moved out in November 2009, believing that her relationship with Melissa could still be savaged.
"I trusted there was no one else," she says. "I didn't know there was someone moving in as I was moving out."
Three weeks after packing up, Tammy Lynn claims she mistakenly opened a "box of new toys" that made her realize Melissa probably had a new lover.
"Speak true, spread the peace, and have faith that we all walk the talk," writes Tammy Lynn. "That's the way to do it."
She adds: "A f*ck up is a f*ck up is a f*ck up. drop it, and stop trying to clean up the mess with flubs and fibs."
Tammy Lynn has four-year-old twins – daughter Johnnie Rose and son Miller – with her ex.
