Shane Sparks was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the youngest of three children to police officers Wanda and Melvin Sparks. He has two older sisters, Rene and Buffy.
There comes a lot of skepticism with the job of photographing naked women. Mainly, people don't really see it as a "job." It seems more like the guys who landed this profession kind of just got lucky.
From surfing the crests of waves attached to a kite, to shooting portfolios of famous personalities such as Nelly Furtado, Lucy Liu, Denise Richards, Kate Bosworth, and Pamela Anderson—Michael Williams is a guy who seems to know how to ride his way up to the top in any given situation.
It began with painting on bedroom walls - and parents who didn't flinch when their daughters decided that plain white interiors just were not cool.
A glimpse into Chad Martel's life would make anyone jealous. This 30-year-old professional photographer begins his day by waking up in his beachfront condo (where he lives by himself) and riding his beach cruiser to Starbucks to get his coffee. Then, he usually has a bunch of photo shoots lined up with various beautiful women in his 1,000 square foot studio for the majority of the day.
Creating art wasn't something 22-year-old Tatiana EL-Khouri grew up daydreaming about. She wasn't the child constantly carrying a box of crayons and finger paints, in search of a free space to express herself. Nor did EL-Khouri grow up in a family of artists, or in an environment brimming with creative influences.
A simple glance at the work of David Schrott and it's difficult to believe that he only started taking pictures as a senior in high school.
