KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine — Ali Larter and Hayes MacArthur are officially husband and wife.
The longtime couple married on Saturday in an intimate ceremony held at MacArthur's family home in Kennebunkport, Maine, according to Us Weekly.
The wedding ceremony was held on the lawn of the estate, with guests arriving in trolleys to the tune of Irish music — a tribute to the groom's heritage.
Larter, 33, was walked down the aisle by her father. Guests included Larter's close friend and former "Varsity Blues" co-star, Amy Smart.
It is the first marriage for both Larter and MacArthur, who announced their engagement in December 2007 after five years of dating. While the pair, who starred together in the 2007 film "Homo Erectus," enjoyed a long courtship, Larter previously said she was ready to walk down the aisle almost immediately.
"I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow," she told Cosmopolitan last year. "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies."
