HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — From the outside, Amber Tamblyn and David Cross may appear as an odd dating pairing, but friends of the lovers say they make for a perfect couple.
“They are always laughing,” says one person close to the celebrity pair. “They both have amazing sense of humors which makes them the perfect match.”
Cross, 45, is nearly 20 years older than the 26-year-old Tamblyn, but another source says the pair doesn’t pay any attention to the age gap.
“David is a really young at heart,” insists an insider. “If you didn’t know any better, you would think he was the younger one.”
Both stars are currently in the midst of promoting new books. Tamblyn just released her second book of poetry titled “Bang Ditto,” while Cross has his first tome in “I Drink for a Reason, a release he calls “a collection of humor tidbits.” In August, the comedian expressed his luck in landing Tamblyn as his girlfriend.
“She’s pretty amazing,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “I don’t know what I did to luck out. I’m glad she pursued me.”
