America Ferrera Engaged to Marry Longtime Boyfriend

The Ugly Betty star is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams, her rep confirmed Thursday.

The engagement rumors began spreading after Ferrera, 26, wore a new diamond ring on the red carpet Wednesday night at the Edinburgh Film Festival screening of The Illusionist in Scotland.

The actress first met Williams at the University of Southern California when he cast her in his student film.

Ferrera's Ugly Betty went off the air in April after four seasons.
