HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — “American Idol” voters have been dialing for a good time instead of voting for their favorite music artist.
The hit Fox reality show has revealed that a change in the last elimination round resulted in fans reaching a phone sex company.
Last week, “Idol” narrowed its field to 13 instead of the usual 12 — a first for the show. However the change wasn’t without a major hiccup.
As it turned out, fans dialing 1-866-IDOLS-13 were promised a connection to a “nasty girl” for up to $3.99 a minute.
