HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Anna Kournikova still has some game left in her.
The former tennis star got into a brawl over the weekend while attending an afterparty for the HardBat Classic Table Tennis Tournament at Lavo Nightclub in Las Vegas, Nev.
According to People, Kournikova was sitting with her assistant at one of the club’s VIP tables when an unidentified woman bumped into them. Kournikova and the woman exchanged shoves, but were quickly separated.
A second more heated exchange took place later in the evening when Kournikova went to leave the club, located inside the Venetian Hotel.
“The woman came back over and threw a drink on Anna and her assistant,” an eyewitness told the mag. “The woman was definitely drunk.”
“Anna said she wanted the woman kicked out, but then everything started to escalate and she and the woman started shoving and pushing each other,” added the source.
Witnesses say that at one point the woman grabbed Kournikova by the neck and shoved her into a wall.
The scuffle was soon halted as security arrived to break up the fisticuffs.
While Kournikova escaped serious injury, a source said: “Anna looked really shaken up.”
