On the call, Mueller, 32, tells the dispatcher that Sheen, 44, is threatening her with a knife.

“My husband had me with a knife,” she says. “I was scared for my life and he threatened me.”

Mueller, who describes the knife as a “switchblade,” also tells the dispatcher that the couple isn’t alone.

“I have people here,” Mueller says on the 911 call. “My family is here, but if I don’t file this right now … he’s in the other room.

“He’s trying to leave right now,” she says later. “He’s trying to sneak out the back.”

Sheen was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. The actor was released several hours later after posting $8,500 bond. He is due in court on Feb. 8, 2010.

Sheen and Mueller tied the knot in May 2008 at a private estate in Los Angeles.  They welcomed their first children, twin boys, in March.
