‘Bachelor’ Star Vienna Girardi: The Other Girls Are Jealous

“Since the beginning, I’ve been the girl that everybody has been talking about and not liking and I know it’s out of jealousy,” the 23-year-old Florida blonde tells Entertainment Tonight.

Girardi has managed to capture the attention of Jake Pavelka in the midst of the drama and she insists the commercial pilot sees through all the nonsense.

“When the girls go to Jake during their one-on-one time, they say, ‘Vienna does this, and Vienna does that.’ I’m not that kind of person. I’m really a good person and Jake knows that,” she says. “He keeps defending me but he realizes that he’s in this situation and that girls are going to talk and they’re going to be jealous. I think he realizes what’s going on. He keeps telling me, ‘You know, it’s not what they say, it’s how you treat me.’ And he’s like, ‘I enjoy how you treat me.’ “

Girardi says she went out of her way to make peace in the house, but the situation has only gotten worse as her relationship with Pavelka intensified.

“I’ve never lived with girls who just don’t like me. I’ve never experienced that,” she says. “When I moved into the house, I cooked the girls’ dinner, I’ve painted toenails, I’ve just been a girlfriend to all of them and now, because they see that Jake really is into me and shows me special attention, they just don’t want anything to do with me.”

Having secured a hometown date by advancing to the final four, Girardi says all the drama she’s endured has been worth the ride.

“I am falling for Jake. There’s [four] girls left, but I think that I’m one of the only girls that have a very, very strong relationship with him so far,” she confesses. “He is an absolutely incredible person and the time that we have shared together has been just everything I’ve ever wanted.”
