NEW YORK — Parent beware: Beavis and Butt-Head are returning to MTV!
After months of rumors, MTV confirmed during its upfronts Wednesday that the popular animated show will be back on the network this summer.
Beavis and Butt-Head, which aired from 1993-97, features two teenage heavy-metal fans bashing music videos and dishing on stuff that "sucks." The series was created by Mike Judge, who also voiced the roles of both title characters.
The show’s return was welcome news for teenage idol Justin Bieber, who wasn’t even born yet when Beavis and Butt-Head first hit the airwaves.
"Solid day in NYC," Bieber said Wednesday on Twitter. "Played hoops and just went to the MTV Upfronts…BEAVIS and BUTTHEAD are coming back!!!"
