MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Betty White and Abe Vigoda brought their A-game to Super Bowl XLIV.
The Hollywood stars teamed up for a memorable Snickers ad that was crowned as the most-liked commercial in USA Today‘s 22nd annual Super Bowl Ad Meter.
In the 30-second spot, White and Vigoda find themselves in a rough-and-tumble football game that ultimately gets both of them tossed on their fannies.
“I have an 86-year-old mother, and I think even she would like that (Snickers ad),” said Ad Meter panelist Carolyn Hansen. “It wasn’t vicious. It was funny. Betty White is iconic — she does everything.”
Second place in the annual rankings went to a Doritos ad in which a dog places a shock collar on its owner.
