HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gretchen Mol is pregnant!
The Boardwalk Empire star is expecting her second child with husband Kip Williams, although she admits this pregnancy has lost some of the luster.
"It’s interesting the reaction … when people see you and say, ‘Oh, when are you due? Is it your first?’ And you say, ‘No, it’s my second,’ they’re like, ‘Oh, [disappointed sigh].’ Like, it’s just not as sweet and dramatic," the actress explained to People, which broke the pregnancy news.
"You don’t get that reaction like you did with the first one," continued Mol, "so you sort of feel like, ‘Oh yeah, just, here I am again.’ "
The baby’s due date was not revealed.
Mol, 38, and Williams, 42, have been married since June 2004. They are already parents to a 3-year-old son named Ptolemy John.
