HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Several celebrities have turned to Twitter to share their sorrow following Brittany Murphy’s shocking death on Sunday, including the late star’s former boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher.
“2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine,” wrote Kutcher, who also co-starred with Murphy in the 2003 romantic comedy Just Married. “My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.”
“See you on the other side kid,” he added.
“My heart aches having just learned of Brittany Murphy’s death,” said actress Eliza Dushku. “We were friends time-to-time thru the yrs. I always admired her pure spirit.”
“Just found out that my friend… childhood best friend died,” shared choreographer Brian Friedman. “I love you Brittany and know you’re in a better place RIP.”
Lindsay Lohan wrote: “My deepest condolences go out to all of Brittany Murphy’s loved ones& may she rest in peace….She was a great talent w/a beautiful soul xo.”
