HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Camila Alves couldn’t be any happier now that she has some female companionship in her home to go along with husband Matthew McConaughey and son Levi.
“I’m very excited to have a girl,” the 27-year-old model, who gave birth to her daughter Vida last month, tells People. “I’m happy and it’s a big blessing.”
“Vida’s definitely a beautiful and peaceful girl,” she adds. “We are so lucky!”
Alves is looking forward to plenty of quality time together, particularly when the girls in the home can bond over beauty secrets.
“I’m going to have so much fun with her hair,” the Shear Genius host says. “I’ve been dealing with my own hair forever so I have a lot to share with her. It’s going to be long talks.”
The Brazilian beauty has yet to bust out the scissors on 18-month-old son Levi, explaining: “He’s too cute. He’s a little boy and I don’t want to touch it. It’s still pure and perfect! We’re going to have so much time to style it and cut it. At this stage in his life, I’m leaving it as pure as possible.”
Whenever the day does arrive to cut her children’s hair, Alves plans to save a few locks for the family scrapbook.
“I’m pretty sure I’m going to do something like that,” she says. “It’s a very mom thing to do.
