Patrick Swayze is refusing to let cancer slow him down.
The 56-year-old actor, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last January, is planning to pen a memoir, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The book will be co-written by Swayze’s wife, Lisa, the publication says.
No other details were immediately available.
Swayze, who is currently starring in A&E’s “The Beast,” was recently released from the hospital after seeking treatment for pneumonia.

The latest issue of Us Weekly claims that it’s nearly a done deal for a sequel to “Sex and the City: The Movie.”
While the ink has yet to dry on the contracts, the magazine reports that the franchise’s stars — Sarah Jessica Parker, 43, Kim Cattrall, 52, Cynthia Nixon, 42, and Kristin Davis, 43, — have all agreed to return.
“Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board,” a source reveals. “It just happened.”
Julianne Hough is planning to hit the stage soon.
Hough, who is currently on hiatus from “Dancing With the Stars,” will be opening a few upcoming tour stops for Toby Keith, according to USA Today. She is also expected to open a few dates for country music legend George Strait as well.
The dancing pro recently announced a break from the hit reality series in order to focus on her singing career.
