HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Christina Applegate has shot down a recent report that said the actress was romancing a younger stud in actor Zachary Levi.
The 36-year-old “Samantha Who?” star tells OK! magazine that there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that she’s dating Levi, the 27-year-old star of NBC’s hit new series “Chuck.”
“We don’t even know each other,” the actress revealed at Saturday’s Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills. “So that story was just a big rumor. I met him once for ten minutes, so I don’t even know where it came from.”
The former “Married with Children” star married her longtime boyfriend Johnathon Schaech in 2001, however the couple later announced they were getting divorced in 2005.
Applegate, who says she plans to stay at home by the fireplace for Valentine’s Day, will return to the big screen later this year in the film “The Rocker,” co-starring Rainn Wilson and Emma Stone.
