HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It’s no secret that Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston are very close “friends,” so it should come as no surprise that Cox recently shelled out $12,000 on a new Chanel bicycle for her close pal.
The 43-year-old “Dirt” star bought the expensive ride for Jennifer after she expressed an interest taking up cycling.
“Jennifer said she wanted to start bike riding because it’s such good exercise,” a source revealed. “So Courteney sent her the new, ultra-chic Chanel bicycle.”
Aniston’s new ride is the eight-speed, 36-pound model, which has a quilted leather seat and a saddlebag with the famous double-C logo.
Apparently, it was a small price to pay, because Jen, who received the bike two weeks ago, “loves it.”
“She goes out riding all the time,” the source says of the 38-year-old Aniston.
Courteney and Jennifer have remained close buds ever since their hit TV show “Friends” finished its long run in 2004.
