HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Danica McKellar is now a proud mother!
The 35-year-old actress, who rose to fame as Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, gave birth to baby boy Tuesday night, People reports.
Son Draco Verta weighed in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces. He is the first child for McKellar and her husband, Mike Verta.
"We are humbled, overjoyed and so grateful for this miraculous gift," the couple told the mag in a statement. "It's like we've only now just learned the true meaning of love."
The former child star and the 38-year-old composer tied the knot in March 2009 in La Jolla, Calif. They announced the pregnancy one year later.
McKellar graduated summa cum laude from UCLA in 1988 and has since written three books, Math Doesn't Suck, Kiss My Math and her latest tome, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, which hit bookshelves in August.
