A friend of Rowe’s named Rebecca White has stepped forward with an e-mail in which the biological mother of Michael Jackson’s two oldest children allegedly weighs the benefits of obtaining custody of the entertainer’s kids.

“Do I want the kids? Hell no. Does it look good for me to ask for them? Absolutely. I don’t want to look like the woman who gave away her kids and just forgot about them,” Rowe allegedly wrote in an e-mail provided to Extra.

Rowe’s attorney quickly denied the accuracy of the e-mail exchange, which reportedly took place on July 5 — 10 days after Jackson’s death.

“Our firm has sent Ms. White a letter disputing the truth of her statements and demanding that she make retraction in order to avoid legal action,” read the statement to the mag.

It’s the second straight day that Rowe’s attorney went into damage control. On Wednesday, the New York Post reported that Rowe, who is the mother of Prince Michael, 12, and Paris Katherine, 11, had agreed to a $4 million offer to not challenge the King of Pop’s family for custody rights. That claim was also denied by Rowe’s attorney, Eric George.

The two children, along with the entertainer’s third child, Prince Michael II (Blanket), 7, are currently living with their temporary guardian, family matriarch Katherine Jackson.
