HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Depeche Mode will hit the road for their first extensive North American concert tour in several years, the band announced Friday on their official Web site.
The electro rockers will kick off their 22-city “Tour of the Universe” trek on July 24 in Toronto, with concert dates planned for most major cities in the U.S. and Canada. Tickets for select markets are set to go on sale on March 13.

Depeche Mode will be touring in support of their new album, “Sounds of the Universe.” The band’s twelth studio release drops in Europe on April 20 and in North America on April 21.
