HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A man suspected of stalking Dr. Drew Pinsky was arrested Wednesday evening in Woodland Hills, Calif.
Charles William Pearson, 33, was apprehended around 5:30 p.m. by L.A. County sheriff’s deputies, who spotted him at a computer terminal in the school library at Pierce College, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Police say the television and radio personality contacted authorities on March 1 after the man posted several threats online towards Pinsky and his family. He also showed up at the Los Angeles radio station where Pinsky works.
Pearson is being held on $150,000 bail, jail records show.
Pinsky, 51, is an addiction specialist who hosts the popular radio program Loveline on Los Angeles station KROQ. He also hosts several VH1 reality shows, including Celebrity Rehab.
