HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Erin Andrews 911 call has surfaced on the Web, in which the ESPN reporter notified authorities last week after seeing “suspicious people” outside her Georgia home.
In her call to authorities last Wednesday afternoon, Andrews tells the dispatcher: “I’ve been in the news recently about being in a hotel naked.”
The obviously upset Andrews then shows her frustration when she compares herself to another famous pop culture icon.
“I did nothing wrong and I’m being treated like f—ing Britney Spears and it sucks,” she says.
The “suspicious people” outside the blonde reporter’s home turned out to be a fellow member of the media seeking an interview.
Andrews was thrust into the public spotlight two weeks ago when it was discovered that she was the victim of a video peephole scandal. In the video, Andrews is seen standing nude in front of a mirror as she fixes her hair inside her hotel room.
The University of Florida graduate was voted “America’s Sexiest Sportscaster” by Playboy magazine in both 2007 and 2008.
The 31-year-old Andrews joined ESPN in May 2004.
