HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ethan Hawke is about to become a father again.
The 37-year-old actor and his girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
“I can confirm and they are thrilled,” Hawke’s rep tells the Associated Press. “No further details will be made available.”
The couple met after Shawhughes started working as a nanny for Hawke’s two children, Maya, 9, and Levon, 6, from his past marriage to actress Uma Thurman.
Hawke and Thurman got married in 1998 after meeting on the set of “Gattaca.” Thurman filed for divorce in 2004, with many media outlets reporting that the cause of the divorce was due to Hawke cheating on her with Canadian model Jen Perzow.
