Gabrielle Union Joins Cast of ABC’s ‘FlashForward’

Gabrielle Union, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, newHOLLYWOOD, Calif.  Gabrielle Union is joining the cast of ABC’s promising new drama, “FlashForward,” the network announced Tuesday.

The 36-year-old actress will have a recurring role as Zoey, a criminal defense attorney who has a romantic arc on the show. Her character is one of the millions worldwide who black out and see glimpses of their lives six months into the future.

“We’re thrilled that Gabrielle is joining our cast,” said executive producer David S. Goyer. “When we met with her, we immediately knew she was our Zoey. She’s witty, soulful and beautiful. I’ve been wanting to work with her for a long time.”

Union joins a cast that includes Joseph Fiennes, John Cho, Jack Davenport, Zachary Knighton, Peyton List, Dominic Monaghan, Br’an F. O’Byrne, Courtney B. Vance, Sonya Walger and Christine Woods.

Union made her television debut in the comedy “Moesha” before going on to appear on such shows as “ER,” “Dave’s World,” “The Steve Harvey Show,” “7th Heaven” and “Friends.” More recently, she landed a guest role on fellow ABC series “Ugly Betty.”

“FlashForward is set to premiere on Sept. 24.
