HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actress Heather Matarazzo is now engaged to her girlfriend Carolyn Murphy, according to E! News.
Matarazzo and Murphy, who have been dating for more than a year, both proposed since the couple does not have a specific “male or female role,” the star’s rep, Lisa Jammal, told E!
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Actress Heather Matarazzo is now engaged to her girlfriend Carolyn Murphy, according to E! News.
Matarazzo and Murphy, who have been dating for more than a year, both proposed since the couple does not have a specific “male or female role,” the star’s rep, Lisa Jammal, told E!
“It was really cute. First Heather proposed to Carolyn, then Carolyn proposed to her,” said Jammal, who added “it was love at first sight” for the couple.
The 25-year-old Matarazzo is best known for her awkward youth roles in “Welcome to the Dollhouse” and “The Princess Diaries.”
The announcement comes on the heels of May’s state high court ruling which struck down California’s laws against gay marriage.
Other stars planning to walk down the aisle include Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, as well as “Star Trek” actor George Takei and his longtime partner.
