HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Heidi Montag plans to seek a restraining order against her mother after she showed up unexpectedly Thursday at the home she shares with husband Spencer Pratt.
According to TMZ, the reality couple called the police after Darlene Egelhoff showed up at their Los Angeles home and started "pounding on the door." Egelhoff later left the couple’s property after initially refusing to leave.
"Her showing up is completely out of line and psychotic," Montag told TMZ. "I’m getting a restraining order against her."
The incident comes after Montag and her mother went toe-to-toe on a recent episode of The Hills. The family showdown was the result of Egelhoff disapproving of her daughter’s now infamous 10 plastic surgery procedures in a single day last November.
"After what she did to me on national TV, I have no desire to see her," Montag said.
