HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It was a star-studded affair at Monday night’s world premiere of Iron Man 2 held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.
The film’s stars — Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson — were all on hand. Other celebs who graced the red carpet included Sylvester Stallone, Adrien Brody, Dane Cook, Kevin James, Garry Shandling, Hugh Hefner, Michelle Monaghan and Olivia Munn.
The world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts, and James "Rhodey" Rhodes at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
Iron Man 2 opens in theaters nationwide on May 7.
