HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jane Lynch has gleefully admitted that she’s engaged to her girlfriend, Lara Embry, although she confessed the longtime couple has yet to finalize their wedding details.
"We don’t have any plans at all yet," the 49-year-old star told Us Weekly at a Glee event held Saturday at the Grove in Los Angeles. "But I have a ring and everything. We’re very happy and very excited!"
Lynch’s rep had previously denied a report in the New York Times‘ Carpetbagger blog that the actress was tying the knot in May.
Embry, a psychologist, was involved last year in a same-sex custody battle with a former partner over their two children, one of which is her biological child. The former lovers currently share custody of the two kids.
So what can fans expect from Lynch’s foul-mouthed cheerleading coach character Sue Sylvester on the second season of Glee?
"Olivia Newton John visits and we do the Physical video together," she told Us of the Fox musical comedy, which returns Tuesday. "I sing ‘Let’s Get Physical.’ "
