HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jenna Jameson is vowing to get her relationship with Tito Ortiz back on track after the mixed marital arts fighter was arrested for felony domestic violence following a dispute at the couple’s home on Monday.
"Tito and I love each other and I want him back in my life," Jameson tells Us Weekly. "He’s a fantastic father and I’m confident we can work through this challenge."
Both stars engaged in a war of words in the hours after the domestic incident. Ortiz told reporters the former porn star was addicted to Oxycontin, but subsequent tests proved she was drug free. Jameson, meanwhile, went back and forth in interviews on whether she had been physically abused or not.
"The events of Monday show how things can get tragically out of hand when people say things in the heat of the moment," explained Jameson. "Unfortunately, what actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in."
Jameson, 36, and Ortiz, 35, have been dating since 2006. They welcomed twin sons Jesse and Journey in March 2009.
