The news comes a week after the actor admitted they were “trying to get pregnant.”

“It would be amazing if it happened,” O’Connell told reporters last weekend at the Much Love Animal Rescue’s 2nd annual Bow Wow Wow event, held at the Playboy Mansion. “I hope it does.”
The babies, who are due this winter, will be the first children for the couple, who met at a party in 2004 and tied the knot last year in Los Angeles.
O’Connell, 34, and Romijn, 35, recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary on July 14, however they were on opposite ends of the coasts and unable to spend the day together.
Last November, O’Connell told USA Today that getting pregnant is “never as easy as everybody thinks.”
“When you’re married to Rebecca, you should try to have as many children as possible,” he explained to the paper. “And I want to do that before she figures out that she could do a lot better than me.”
