According to the celebrity gossip site, 16-year-old Michael Truncali died when his car crashed in the early Thanksgiving hours after a night of drinking at Snooki’s New Jersey home. He had a blood alcohol level of .18, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Snooki, who was 16 at the time, was later charged with Prohibited Sale of Alcoholic Beverages after it was determined that she had charged partygoers for alcohol.

"She doesn’t care about what happened to our son," the victim’s mother, Michelle Truncali, said of Snooki before softening her tone. "We’re not out to trash Nicole. I never blamed her for what happened, she was a 16-year-old (sic).  I blame others. I am not looking for those people to get arrested, I just want the truth."

Helen Polizzi, the reality star’s mother, was home at the time of the party, but never charged. She refused comment when reached by Radar, but police said she was fully cooperative during their investigation.

"She came in willingly and spoke to us several times about the incident," Marlboro Police Chief Stephen Fajfer said.

The victim’s parents told Radar they are disappointed that Jersey Shore appears to "glorify" alcohol consumption and hope others can learn a lesson from their son’s death.

"I just don’t feel that parents should allow underage drinking in their homes," said the victim’s father, Bill Truncali. "If this brings some exposure to the problem and if it stops this from happening to someone else, that is a good thing."
