HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Actress Jessica Alba is loving every minute of being pregnant for the first time.
“It’s awesome,” Alba told People magazine while attending Glamour magazine’s kickoff for V-Day’s 10th Anniversary. “It’s the best time ever. I have two movies coming out, a baby, a fiancé — everything.”
With her first baby due in early spring or late summer, Alba, 26, says that the pregnancy has been smooth so far. However, she admits, “I’m more tired, more hungry than normal.”
The “Fantastic Four” star, who recently announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Cash Warren, 28, the baby’s father, has two movies scheduled for release this year. Alba has completed filming on “The Eye,” and will also appear in “The Love Guru,” a comedy written by and co-starring Mike Myers.
“I don’t know if anyone wants me in their movies [when I’m] six months pregnant,” joked Alba, who recently bought a new house. “I’ll get the fire and I’ll want to work again, but right now it’s a time to relax and sit back.”
While she’s enjoying her first pregnancy, Alba is quick to point out the physical changes taking place.
“[When you’re pregnant], your breasts are engorged and your stomach is getting bigger. . . . And the ass, too, that’s getting bigger by the second!”
