HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The world will have to wait a little longer for the arrival of Baby Benjamin.
Contrary to reports, John Travolta did not jet home from Australia because wife Kelly Preston had gone into labor.
"This story is 100 percent false," the couple’s rep said Sunday. "She’s not in labor. John is in route back to the U.S. as was always the plan for him to return this weekend."
Travolta, 56, and Preston, 48, announced the pregnancy in May, more than a year after the tragic death of their 16-year-old son Jett, who died after suffering a seizure at the family’s vacation home in the Bahamas.
In September, Preston said she was counting down the days until their baby boy arrived, joining older sister Ella Bleu, 10.
"John and I are completely ready. My daughter is very excited too," she told People. "I can’t wait for the day to come."
Preston’s due date is Nov. 26.
