HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Casey Johnson, the girlfriend of reality star Tila Tequila and an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, was found dead Monday morning, TMZ reports. She was 30.
Johnson’s body was discovered in Los Angeles, the celebrity site said. It is believed that she had been dead for several days.
Johnson’s cause of death has yet to be determined, but TMZ reports that she suffered from diabetes and insulin syringes were found in her home.
News of her death comes one day after the New York Jets, the teamed owned by her father Woody Johnson, qualified for the NFL playoffs with a victory in what was likely the final game at the Meadowlands.
Last month, Johnson made headlines after she reportedly got engaged to Tequila. The Shot at Love star told TMZ that Johnson spent the night on Dec. 28 and that was the last time they spoke. The pair had been fighting last week and Tequila said Johnson’s phone had been shut off since Dec. 29.
