HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Katy Perry is the hottest of the hot.
The 25-year-old pop star is No. 1 on Maxim‘s 2010 Hot 100 list, the magazine revealed Monday.
"The perfect Perry first caught our attention in 2008 with her smash hit, ‘I Kissed a Girl’—and we liked it. Yeah, we were more than okay with Katy’s kiss-and-tell attitude and the bi-curious beauty has been on our radar ever since," the men’s mag said.
Perry claimed the top spot by outlasting Sports Illustrated cover model Brooklyn Decker (No. 2), Avatar actress Zoe Saldana (No. 3), Gossip Girl star Blake Lively (No. 4) and Transformers hottie Megan Fox (No. 5).
Others notables who made the annual list included country star Taylor Swift (No. 31), actress Angelina Jolie (No. 38) and pop star Britney Spears (No. 54).
Last year’s No. 1, actress Olivia Wilde, slipped to No. 20 in the latest rankings.
Perry, who just released her new single, "California Gurls," got engaged to British comedian Russell Brand over the New Year’s holiday after four months of dating.
