LOS ANGELES — Kevin Costner was feeling "violently sick" when an employee of his asked for medical assistance, according to a tape of the January 911 call obtained by TMZ.
The 53-year-old actor was driving in Hollywood when the sudden illness forced him to the side of the road.
"He's in a parked car... pulled over in a black Audi," the unidentified male caller tells the dispatcher. "He's in distress, he's very sick. He's my boss. I'm not there with him right now."
The caller eventually clues the dispatcher into who he works for.
"His name is Kevin Costner, actually, just to let you know," says the male employee.
"The Kevin Costner?" replies the dispatcher amusingly.
"Yeah. He got violently sick and started throwing up," answers the caller.
Costner was hospitalized overnight but released the following day after tests showed nothing wrong with the "Dances with Wolves" star.
