The scandal began when the mag’s editors accidentally released a picture from the shoot on the Web that had yet to be photoshopped. Upon catching their mistake, they quickly pulled the photo and replaced it with a touched-up version that depicts a much slimmer Kardashian. While the incident has led to plenty of Internet chatter, the reality TV star is wondering what all the fuss is about.
“You know what, who cares! Kardashian writes on her blog. “So what: I have a little cellulite. What curvy girl doesn’t!?”
The 28-year-old Kardashian has long embraced her curvy figure and points out that the incident is common practice.
“How many people do you think are photoshopped? It happens all the time!” she says.
Looking to turn a potential negative into a positive, Kardashian says she’ll use the brouhaha to her advantage.
“This all motivates me to stay in the gym because my goal this year has been to get in better shape and tone up!” she writes. “Hard work pays off!”
“I’m proud of my body and my curves and this picture coming out is probably helpful for everyone to see that just because I am on the cover of a magazine doesn’t mean I’m perfect.”
