HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kim Kardashian turned more heads than normal Sunday night when she debuted her new blonde hairstyle at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
Kardashian, who recently split with her longtime boyfriend, football star Reggie Bush, said she’s been considering going blonde for some time.
“This time it’s for real, guys! I went blonde!!!” she blogged prior to the big show. “I had been considering it ever since I wore that blonde wig, and I just decided to go for it!! What do you think? I am really loving it! My hairstylist Clyde Haygood orchestrated the whole thing and Rebecca from Goodform salon dyed it!”
In addition to showing off her blonde locks for the first time, Kardashian said she loved every minute of the Teen Choice Awards, particularly since it was the first time that her younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie, had attended. The reality TV star also said she got a kick out of presenting an award to the Jonas Brothers.
“I love those guys!” she wrote. “Especially Nick! LOL!! I also got to participate in his fan dare, where the fans dared him to hug as many girls as he could in 20 seconds! I was at the end of the line! I hugged him so tight and wouldn’t let go! He’s a cutie, but way too young for me! LOL”
