HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kristin Chenoweth has signed on for the upcoming indie film “Into Temptation,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 39-year-old actress will portray a prostitute who confesses to a priest that she plans to commit suicide on her birthday, the Reporter says.
Chenoweth will star opposite the previously-cast Jeremy Sisto.
The film’s script, from writer-director Patrick Coyle, previously won the McKnight Screenwriting Fellowship.
Shooting on the project is scheduled to begin next week in Minneapolis.
Chenoweth currently stars on the ABC series “Pushing Daisies.” She also recently completed shooting the comedy feature “Four Christmases.”
