It is the first “child” for the “Desperate Housewives” star and his wife, who works as an executive producer on “Project Runway.” The couple, who have been married for six years, are also proud parents to their famous dogs, Mookie and Sam, who have their own Web site and TV show.
The 48-year-old MacLachlan, who stars in the upcoming film “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” spoke out earlier this year about becoming a father.
“I’ve got a little set of golf clubs all ready,” he told the New York Post.
