HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lindsay Lohan has accepted George Lopez's invitation to appear on his late-night talk show after the pair engaged in a war of words over Twitter.
Lohan, 23, will appear on Lopez Tonight next Tuesday, the host revealed yesterday on his show and Twitter page.
The visit comes after the pair got into a heated exchange on the micro-blogging site thanks to a crack Lopez made on Monday's show. The comedian referenced Lohan's past drug problems when he joked about her powdery shoes that buzzed the Web over the weekend.
"Thanks for the childish comment regarding baby powder in my shoes to loosen up the leather," she tweeted. "Don't you have kids? U wouldn't wanna hear that about them, or would you? Act like a grown man, have some respect and dignity for yourself."
Lopez, 48, responded by asking the actress to visit his show.
"Let's take this off twitter .. Come on the show .. I've met you before and don't have anything against you," he tweeted. "You want me to stop talking about you I will .. Come and tell me .. To my face .. I'll stop !! Respectfully."
