Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel issued the bench warrant after Lohan’s court-ordered alcohol-monitoring bracelet, called a SCRAM device, went off while she was attending an MTV Movie Awards afterparty.

Lohan, 23, was ordered to wear the device last month at a progress report hearing stemming from her 2007 DUI conviction. In a statement Tuesday, her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said the SCRAM device showed the "presence of a small amount of alcohol" after the actress attended Sunday’s ceremony in Universal City, Calif.

"Having just received the report, I am not in a position to speak to its accuracy or validity, however Ms. Lohan maintains that she has been in complete compliance with all of the terms of her probation and her bail," said Holley.

Lohan, who is due back in court on July 6, later took to Twitter to deny any wrongdoing in a series of messages filled with spelling and grammatical errors.

"My scram wasn’t set off," she wrote. "Its physically impossible considering I’ve nothing for it to go off – All of these false resports are absolutely wrong."

Added Lohan: "This is all because of FALSE accusation by tabloids & paparazzi & it is f—— digusting – I’ve been more than I’m compliance & feeling great."
