HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lindsay Lohan is setting the record straight after several reports suggested she was dating British actor Tom Hardy.
"Tom Hardy is just a friend of mine," the actress said Monday on Twitter. "The tabloids are wrong."
Lohan, 24, and Hardy, 33, made headlines earlier this month when they were spotted having dinner together. The get together came about shortly after the Mean Girls star left rehab.
It is widely believed that Hardy, who famously battled addiction problems of his own, is helping Lohan stay on the straight and narrow.
Hardy, who has been sober since 2003, is engaged to actress Charlotte Riley.
