HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lindsay Lohan is coming to the defense of her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, who has been accused of being violent during the former couple's relationship.
"This is become a bit much," the 23-year-old Lohan wrote Tuesday on Twitter. "Samantha R never raised a hand to me. I've never said she did. Enough is Enough. Focus on more important world issues."
On Monday, RadarOnline reported that the things had become nasty between the actress and DJ.
"One time I saw her [Lindsay] and she had a large welt on her head," a source told the celebrity gossip site. "She told me that Sam beat the (bleep) out of her. She also said that Sam even punched and choked her one time."
Ronson, 32, has since thanked her ex for sticking up for her.
"Thank you for clearing that up. The high road was giving me a nose bleed! ;)," she tweeted. "To ANYONE who perpetuates this rumour accusing me of being violently abusive after @lindsaylohan has denied it: I WILL take legal action."
