HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — One member of the Oceanic Six just got a little bit richer.

“Lost” star Matthew Fox has inked a new deal with ABC that bumps his per-episode salary up to $225,000, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 42-year-old actor, who is often considered the show’s lead character, was previously earning $150,000 per episode. The new deal puts him on par with the stars of the network’s other top series, “Desperate Housewives.”

On last year’s fourth season, it was revealed that Fox’s character, Jack Shephard, was one of the Oceanic Six — the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 who left the Island and returned openly to civilization after their flight’s crash.

The rest of the show’s main cast is currently negotiating with the network and expected to receive a pay increase as well.

The Emmy-winning series begins production on its fifth season next week.
