HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Megan Fox enjoys holding the power when her striking looks catch the attention of a male admirer in Hollywood.
“It’s fun when someone intends to put you in his back pocket, but instead, he walks away wounded,” the 23-year-old actress reveals in the October issue of Cosmopolitan.
Fox, who next stars in the upcoming film “Jennifer’s Body,” likes to turn such pick-up attempts into something for own personal amusement.
“I make it a mind game so they don’t know if I’m hitting on them or mocking them,” she explains. “Male actors drop lines about their private jets, trying to seem powerful, but I don’t give a s—. I don’t need someone else’s power. I’m obtaining my own.”
As for how many admirers have had the pleasure of seeing her naked, Fox says she can count the number on one hand.
“I never call them guys. I always called them boys,” she says. “Maybe it’s a superiority complex – my needing to keep them down.”
While she’s readily regarded as one of the sexiest women in Hollywood, Fox confesses that she struggles often with her own self-esteem.
“I’m very confident in how I project my personality,” she says. “But in terms of how I look, I’m completely, hysterically insecure. I’m self-loathing, introverted and neurotic.”
