“Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on ‘Megan Wants A Millionaire,’ an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March,” read a statement Thursday from the network. “Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.”

Orange County District Attorney spokeswoman Farrah Emami said one count of murder was filed against the 32-year-old Jenkins on Thursday afternoon.

Jenkins was last heard from on Saturday when he called the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to report the former model as missing. Fiore’s nude body was found that same day stuffed in a suitcase in a Buena Park, Calif. trash bin. Officials have speculated that she may have been strangled to death.

Authorities believe Jenkins has since fled to his native Canada, where he entered the country through a remote area in Washington state after driving and boating more than 1,000 miles up the coast from California.

The 28-year-old Fiore was last seen alive alongside Jenkins at a poker tournament in San Diego.

Lisa Lepore says her daughter married Jenkins in March in Las Vegas, but had the marriage annulled two months later.
