LOS ANGELES — An unidentified male is heard pleading for help in an effort to save Michael Jackson during a frantic 911 call that was released Friday by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“We have a gentleman here who needs help,” says the caller, without ever mentioning that the individual in need of medical help is Jackson.
In the call, which was made Thursday at 12:21 P.T., the 911 operator learns that there is a 50-year-old in bed, where CPR is being administered by a personal physician, identified by TMZ as Dr. Conrad Murray.
“Did anybody witness what happened?” the operator asks.
“No, just the doctor, sir. The doctor’s been the only one here,” says the caller.
Shortly after their arrival, paramedics transported Jackson via ambulance to the nearby UCLA Medical Center. After attempting to revive the singer for more than an hour, Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 P.T
