Michael Jackson’s Brothers to Star in New A&E Reality Series

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Michael Jackson’s brothers will star in a new A&E reality series that was already in progress when the singer died on June 25.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pilot for the show featuring Jackson’s siblings — Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon — was shot a few weeks prior to the music icon’s death on June 25.

The executive producer of the series, Jodi Gomes of Point 7 Entertainment, previously told the trade publication that the four brothers were preparing for a Jackson 5 reunion, which would have likely included the King of Pop.

“We have months and months of exclusive and intimate footage as a family as a unit, as individuals, as brothers,” Gomes said. “It’s enormous … this is not your average special.”

While A&E has yet to confirm plans for a series, insiders say the pilot episode for the tentatively titled “The Jackson Family” will air within the next month.

Future episodes are expected to chronicle the Jackson brothers’ lives as they cope with the music legend’s death.
